We asked her a few questions so you could hear directly from her about her dedication to reproductive rights and comprehensive sexuality education, her experience as a former Planned Parenthood volunteer, and her vision for a healthier future for the city of Worcester.
Why are reproductive rights and access to women’s health care important to you?
I truly believe that all women have the right to decide what happens with their bodies and that access to reproductive health care is tantamount. Planned Parenthood has helped me get medical care when I had no other affordable options and ALL women deserve that. I’m still stunned that in 2015, we are once again discussing a woman’s right to birth control. We need to continue to fight for women’s health and rights and stop chipping away at them.
